To correct a smile that has an uneven gum line or that may show too much gum tissue you would need to recontour the gums. Many patients are unaware that this may be all that they need to achieve a more cosmetic smile. Sometimes Dr. Thomas Lange may need to use this procedure along with crowns, veneers or orthodontics to achieve your ideal smile.
